Hi, my father was an internationally recognized scientist, who wrote poetry on the side. He typed out 40 poems, but had over 80 additional handwritten poems, some with multiple versions. An established market for science fiction stories, Asimov’s Science Fiction magazine has won numerous Hugo and Nebula Awards, and the writers they’ve published have led successful careers. The Sun offers an excellent opportunity for LIS authors to reach a more mainstream audience than an industry publication. Many do not accept British writers as it costs them too much money. The problem with this is people may not always get a response. I have had to ask directly if they accept submissions from Britain.
